Note to Parents
Parents,
Please be aware that your student has study guides for the areas in Science that we’ve been studying. All the information is in their notebooks, so they should have received 100 on it, as they were allowed to use their notebooks to find the answers. Please be sure you study with them. If they know what’s on the study guides, they should do great on Benchmark and SOL tests.
If your child brings home the guides tonight and they’re not finished, please have him/her complete them so they can study over the weekend. The Science test will be on Tuesday, regardless of whether we’re off tomorrow.
Many students also do not know their times tables. The majority of the Benchmark test will be multiplication, division, & fractions, so it’s very important that they know their facts. Please go over them with your child to make sure he knows them. If not, please practice.

It’s Benchmark Time
Benchmark time is upon us! It’s hard to believe that half the year is gone already. Following is the schedule for testing. Please be sure your child is here every day, for the entire day. We do a lot of reviewing, and they’ll miss a lot if they’re absent.
